Dr. Varda was raised in North Vancouver, having attended Plymouth Elementary and Windsor Secondary. Coming from a family experienced in the dental profession, he set his sights on his career aspiration attending the University of British Columbia on scholarship. Having earned a Bachelor of Sciences (B. Sc.) in Biology, he went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.).
Dr. Varda’s goal is to provide his community with high quality oral health care through a gentle approach, open communication, and the most current dental techniques. He takes patient care very seriously and enjoys all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Varda has been happily married to his wife Claret since 2006. They enjoy living an active, balanced lifestyle with interests including music, sailing, and travel.
Community Involvement
North Van Wolf Pack
The North Van Wolf Pack is North Vancouver’s Junior B team hockey, a proud member of the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL). Getting involved in the North Shore community has been one of my top goals. Having grown up on the North Shore, I’m proud to sponsor and act as team dentist for the Wolf Pack. Our office provides emergency services, custom mouthguards, and the all important Save-A-Tooth kits which no sports team should be without. A big thank you to the Wolf Pack for giving us this opportunity!
Lions Gate Hospital
Dr. Varda is an on-call dentist through the Emergency Room Department of Lions Gate Hospital. In instances of dental emergencies, Dr. Varda can be contacted for advice and treatment.
